Kids’ Chance of California Announces Call for Scholarship Applications

Providing educational scholarships for children of California’s injured and fallen workers

SAN FRANCISCO–()–Kids’ Chance of California is a non-profit charitable organization whose mission is to provide need-based educational scholarships to the children of California workers who have been fatally or seriously injured on the job. Every year, hundreds of children face the devastating impact of a parent’s injury or death, and the future can seem very frightening for those young people as they face the prospect of embarking on their education.

“Kids’ Chance is offering a new opportunity for the children of California because 2013 is the first time scholarships will be awarded. As a result of many generous donations received from across the state, several scholarships can be awarded this year”

“Kids’ Chance is offering a new opportunity for the children of California because 2013 is the first time scholarships will be awarded. As a result of many generous donations received from across the state, several scholarships can be awarded this year,” said Maria Henderson. “We need your assistance to identify scholarship recipients. As we commemorated Workers’ Memorial Day on April 28th, we ask you to act now and share this wonderful opportunity to help the children of California’s injured and fallen workers.”
